This Re:gn kitchen cleaning set brings together seven reusable tools for everyday washing-up, scrubbing and surface cleaning.  The set uses plant-based and natural materials in place of conventional plastic cleaning tools, with separate brushes and cloths for dishes, pans, bottles and general kitchen cleaning.

Why we stock this

We looked at the materials across the whole set instead of treating it as one generic "eco" bundle. Re:gn uses bamboo handles and plant-based fibres such as sisal, coconut and cellulose, with a hemp and organic cotton cloth instead of relying on conventional synthetic sponges and plastic brushes.

We also liked the replaceable brush head. The handle can stay in use when the bristles eventually wear out, so the whole dish brush does not need to be replaced at once.

What it's made of

Bamboo: Used for several of the brush handles.

Sisal and coconut fibre: Used as natural scrubbing fibres.

Cellulose and coconut fibre: Used in the scouring sponge.

Hemp and organic cotton: Used in the kitchen cloth.

How to use & care

  • Use the palm scrubber and pan scourer for tougher cleaning jobs.
  • Use the dish brush for everyday washing up.
  • Use the bottle brush for jars, bottles and narrow containers.
  • Rinse all brushes thoroughly after use.
  • Allow natural fibres and bamboo handles to dry fully.
  • Wash the cloth and sponge according to the supplier's care guidance.
  • Replace the dish brush head once the bristles are worn.

Good to know

Natural fibres wear differently from plastic.  Fraying or softening over time does not necessarily mean the product has failed - it is part of the normal wear of plant-based materials.
