Greenscents Organic Loo Cleaner is made with 98% certified organic ingredients and is designed for regular toilet-bowl cleaning.  The formula uses cider vinegar, soapnut and shikakai alongside neem oil, with no bleach, SLS or synthetic fragrance.  It is also suitable for septic tanks and composting toilet.

We looked at the full formulation rather than relying on the word "natural".  Greenscents publishes every ingredient and backs the product with Soil Association organic certification, so we can see exactly what it doing the cleaning and what is being used for fragrance and preservation.

The formula uses cider vinegar, soap nut and shikakai alongside neem oil, and Greenscents confirms that it contains no bleach, SLS or synthetic fragrance.  We also liked that the 500ml bottle can be refilled from larger 5L or 20L containers instead of being replaced each time.

How to use

Greenscents recommends:

  1. Apply 2-3 pumps under the toilet rim, using the pump accessory (sold separately)
  2. Spread around the bowl with a toilet brush
  3. Leave for at least 1 minute
  4. Flush
  5. Store beween 5°C and 25°C and away from direct sunlight
