A compact solid stain remover stick for treating fresh spills before they set, made with a short disclosed ingredient list and plastic-free kraft packaging.

The Re:gn Stain Remover Stick is designed for fresh laundry stains, travel and everyday spills.  Wet the mark, rub the stick directly onto the stain, leave for a few minutes, then rinse or wash as usual.  It can also be lathered in water for small hand washes.

Why we stock this

We checked the complete ingredient list rather than relying on claims such as "natural" or "chemical-free".  Re:gn discloses six ingredients, including coconut and olive derived soap, sodium carbonate and two additional surfactants used to help lift stains.

We also liked the solid format.  There is no liquid bottle to replace, and the stick is supplied in Kraft-card packaging that Re:gn describes as plastic-free, recyclable and compostable.

What's in it

Sodium Cocoate: Soap made from coconut oil, helps loosen grease and dirt.

Sodium Olivate: Soap derived from oilive oil, contributes to cleaning and lather.

Sodium Carbonate: An alkaline cleaning aid that helps loosen soils and supports stain removal.

Glycerin: Humectant that help retain moisture within the bar.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate: A coconunt derived surfactant used to support cleansing and foam.

Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sultanate: A stronger synthetic surfactant used to lift grease and stubborn soils.

Full ingredient list: Sodium Cocotte, Sodium Olivate, Sodium Carbonate, Glycerin, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium C14-16, Olefin Sulphate.

How to use

1. Wet the stained area with a little water.
2. Rub the stick gently over the stain.
3. Leave for a few minutes.
4. Rinse or wash as normal.
5. Repeat if necessary.

For handwashing, lather the bar in a bowl of water, add the garment, soak briefly and rinse thoroughly.  Re:gn notes that that the stick works best on fresh stains rather than old, set in marks.

Good to know

This product is intended primarily for fresh stains.  Set-in-marks may need repeated treatment or a different stain removal method.
