Why we stock this

We looked at the part of a conventional cotton bud that is often plastic: the stem.  Smile Boutiques replaces it with bamboo while keeping the familiar cotton tip, making this a simple swap where the material difference is easy to use.

We also checked the packaging.  The buds come in a recycled paper box rather than a conventional plastic container, and the supplier describes the finished buds as biodegradable.
