A practical toilet cleaning set made from clearly identified materials instead of the plastic handle, plastic bristles and plastic holder used in many conventional toilet brushes. We looked at the materials because many conventional toilet brushes combine plastic handles, synthetic bristles and plastic holders. This set is much easier to understand. FSC® certified beechwood for the handle, Tampico and coconut fibres for the brush, and a reusable metal holder.
We also checked where it is made and how it needs to be cared for. It is handmade in Germany, and because the handle and bristles are natural materials, they need to be allowed to dry properly between uses rather than being let constantly wet.

How to use & care
- Use for normal toilet-bowl cleaning
- Rinse the brush after use
- Allow it to dry completely between uses
- Avoid leaving the wooden handle submerged or continuously wet
- Clean and dry the metal holder regularly
- Store with enough airflow to help protect the natural wood and fibres.
Good to know
Natural wood and plant fibres need different care from plastic. Allowing the brush to dry properly between uses will help preserve the handle and bristles.
