A concentrated 1L floor cleaner refill that fills a 500ml bottle twice and can be diluted for light or heavy cleaning.

MadeKind's 1L Floor Cleaner Refill is a concentrated formula designed to cut through everyday dirt on most floor types.  It can be poured into a reusable bottle and diluted as needed, with one pouch filling a 500ml bottle twice.  MadeKind fragrances the formula with lavender, rosemary, and peppermint essential oils.

Why we stock this

We looked at both the formulation and the refill format.  This is a concentrated cleaner rather than a ready-diluted product, so one 1L pouch can be used to refill a 500ml bottle twice and then diluted according to the cleaning job.

We also checked the ingredient disclosure. MadeKind identifies the surfactant types, preservative system, and essential oils used, rather than leaving the formulation behind a general "plant-based" claim.

What's in it

Amphoteric and non-ionic surfactants: Cleaning agents that help lift dirt and residues from floor surfaces.

Phenoxyethanol: Used as part of the preservative system.

Lavender, rosemary, and peppermint essential oils: Provide the fragrance blend

Linalool: A fragrance component that can occur naturally in essential oils.

How to use

  • Dilute 1 part cleaner to 10 parts water for heavier cleaning
  • Dilute up to 1 part cleaner to 100 parts water for lighter cleaner
  • Use with a mop as normal
  • For wooden floors, wring the mop out thoroughly because excess water is not recommended.
