Why we stock this

We liked this product because it changes the laundry process rather than adding another formulation.  Wool dryer balls work by physically separating garments as they tumble, helping air move between fabrics and reducing the need for single-use dryer sheets.

We also prefer being able to explain exactly what the product is: a reusable wool laundry accessory rather than a fragranced or coated laundry product.

How to use

  1. Place the dryer balls in the tumble dryer with wet laundry.
  2. Use all six for larger loads, or fewer for smaller loads if preferred.
  3. Run the dryer using the normal fabric care setting.
  4. Remove the balls with the laundry and allow them to air between uses.
  5. Reuse for subsequent loads.

Good to know

Wool dryer balls do not add fragrance.  Their main role is helping separate fabrics during tumble drying.

Care

  • Allow the balls to dry fully between uses.
  • Store somewhere dry.
  • If they begin to pill, that does not necessarily mean they have reached the end of their useful life.
  • Follw the supplier's care instructions if washing is required.
